5th RUN OF SKRIEN LATVIJA (RUN LATVIA!)

REGULATIONS

TIME AND VENUE
The run will take place on 9 August 2014 in Kuldiga. Start and finish in the Concert hall of the town.

GOAL
To promote active and healthy lifestyle in Kuldiga Region and in Latvia.
Entire country in one run!

SCHEDULE AND REGULATIONS OF THE COMPETITION

Track of the half marathon is certified and goes through the town – 21.097 km (4 laps of 5.274 km) with cover of asphalt and cobbles. Traffic of the transport on the track will be stopped or limited (controlled) during the competition. Participants of the run are not allowed to be accompanied by bicycles, roller skates etc. Time limitation of the half marathon is three hours. The track for the run will be closed (open for transport) at 15.00 o’clock.
Registration will be closed 30 minutes before start.

AWARD CEREMONY
Half marathon

In overall evaluation (wmen and men) –
1st place -  250 EUR, 2nd place – 150 EUR, 3rd place – 100 EUR, 4th place – 80 EUR, 5th place – 70EUR, 6th place – 50 EUR.
First three places of each age group will be awarded with prizes.
All finished participants will be issued a memento medal and certificate/diploma available for print in the section of results on home page of www.kuldigas-pusmaratons.lv and www.skrienlatvija.lv .
 
NIKE run

First three places of each age group will be awarded with prizes.
All finished participants will be issued a memento medal and certificate/diploma available for print in the section of results on home page of www.kuldigas-pusmaratons.lv and www.skrienlatvija.lv .
 
National run

First three places of each age group will be awarded with prizes.

First three places of each age group will be awarded with prizes of sponsors.
All finished participants will be issued a memento medals.

Participation fee includes: number for participant, rent of time taking chip MyLaps (ChampionChip), memento medal for EVERY finished participant, service staff, provision of distance, insurance of competition, drinks on distance, changing rooms, showers in sports centre of Kuldiga and snacks on finish, as well as memento diploma/certificate for EVERY finished participant. This diploma/certificate is available for print in the section of results on home page of www.kuldigas-pusmaratons.lv and www.skrienlatvija.lv .
 
Participation fee is not refunded to participants not attending the competition!!!

IF THE PARTICIPATION FEE IS NOT TRANSFERRED UNTIL THE DAY OF COMPETITION, FULL FEE IS TO BE PAID ON THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION!!!
THE AMOUNT OF PARTICIPATION FEE IS BEING DETERMINED ACCORDING TO THE DATE IT WAS PAID.

Invoices are available for issue to organizations and teams and the payment can be made by transfer. The invoice must be paid 3 days before start of the competition. Contact information on e-mail info@skrienlatvija.lv. In case you require further information please call: 67291526.
In case of damaged or lost chip EUR 20/LVL 14.06 must be paid.
 
RECEIPT OF THE NUMBER
Numbers for participants will be issued on EXPO of the competition on 8th August from 18.00-21.00 o’clock and on the day of competition on 9th August from 8.00 o’clock at the registration of the competition.
 
TRACK AND TIMING
Time spent on the distance will be measured with systems of MyLaps (ChampionChip).

CANCELATION/ POSTPONING OF THE COMPETITION
Organizers of competition are entitled to cancel or postpone the competition due to unforeseen conditions by notifying thereof on the home page www.kuldigas-pusmaratons.lv, www.skrienlatvija.lv or www.sportlat.lv.
 
SAFETY
Upon the registration for the competition on the internet or on the day of competition every participant of the competition confirms his full responsibility of compliance of his health to participate in the accomplishment of the distance.
Participants at the age younger than 18 have to be accompanied by responsible person who signs the application. Organizers of the competition do not take responsibility of possible traumas during the competition; however they do provide presence of the emergency medical assistance during the competition.  
 
CHANGES IN REGULATIONS OF THE COMPETITION
Organizers are entitled to amend and supplement the regulations. Information is available on 26579494.
Organizers are not liable for ignorance of the regulations.
 
OBJECTIONS
Objections are accepted by payment of EUR 30/LVL 21.08. In case of justified objection the money is returned.

MISCELANEOUS
Organizers are allowed to use photos taken during the competition etc. for visual materials without a prior coordination with people appearing on them.
Road vehicles must be parked in the parking place following the direction signs.
